North Kitsap Heritage Park
North Kitsap Heritage Park
Location: From downtown Kingston go west on Hwy 104. Turn left onto Miller Bay Road. Proceed about 2 miles; the park is on the left. Look for the park sign and turn lanes; a kiosk has been erected by the parking area.
Description: This 450 acre park is one of Kitsap County's "Heritage" Parks. It is currently open for hike and contains about 5 miles of cleared trails. Future plans include adding another 380 acres, ball fields, equestrian trails, picnic areas, etc. Expect things to be primitive as the trails are maintained by volunteers. Volunteers usually meet the second Saturday of each month at 9:00am and work about 3 hours, weather permitting.
Please pack out your trash!
Parking: A parking area has been cleared at the entrance off of Miller Bay Road. Please be careful not to block in other cars.
Pets: Pets are welcome, but dogs should be kept on leash. Please clean up after your pet!
Motorized Vehicles: County policy does no permit motorized vehicles except in the designated parking area.
